Afternoon session at Pevensey having spent morning fitting new oven and hob and negotiating with neighbours to sort out their tree which moved into out garden in the storms !
Got there to find no wind and pretty flat conditions. There was a hint of surf and left over swell so decided to rig the 5,9m duke on the fly 10'0 despite the piss taking from the rest of the crew.
Rob decided to follow suit and rigged a 6 to stick on a starboard sup. .
Launched and within 2 mins it proper pissed down.
Just us out plus karl and his mate on their jet skis. Rest of the crew hid in their vans and never joined us.
Shame coz rain passed pretty quick. Waves jacked up. Nice rainbow backdrop.
Loads of wave rides. Wind filled in. Even had some planing runs.
Really enjoyable couple of hours tho still feel a little short changed and still got poxy tree in the garden
